PHOTOS: Another Part of Magic Kingdom Has Received a 50th Anniversary Makeover

Almost everything at Disney World is getting spruced up for the 50th Anniversary celebration, which (can you believe it?) begins in a little less than ONE MONTH!

We’re so close to the start of the 50th Anniversary Celebration!

Cinderella Castle got a HUGE makeover — complete with a new paint job, new decor, and a huge “50” sign right on the front. We’ve also seen other buildings throughout Magic Kingdom getting spiffed up — even the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel got some new golden touches! Now, something else in this park has gotten a golden upgrade.

While we’re still waiting to spot the first of the 50 golden character statues that will be dispersed throughout the parks, we’re noticing other 50th anniversary details every day. Today, we noticed that the clock on Main Street, U.S.A., is looking a little more glamorous! It got quite the golden makeover.

It’s so pretty!

Not only is the clock looking shiny and golden, but there’s a “50” on top of the clock too.

50 years!

New banners have also been added to the now-golden post the clock sits on.

With banners

These very regal-looking banners have the “50” on them and show that Citizen is one of the sponsors of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
