Disney World has all kinds of hotels available, from the beachy vibes at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to the artistic style of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and the upscale luxury at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
Today, we’re taking you on a tour of a room at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, located near EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This resort has a New England-style theme and shares some amenities with its sister resort, Disney’s Yacht Club. The Disney Vacation Club Villas at Beach Club have been open for a long time, but standard rooms just reopened this summer. Let’s head inside to take a look!
The lobby at Disney’s Beach Club is beautiful, with an open floor concept and walkways on the second level overlooking it. Once we checked in, we headed to find our room.
We got a standard room, which only reopened in May this year. The carpet in the hallways fits the beach theme with starfish and shell patterns.
Our room had two queen beds with a nightstand between them. Since it’s on the ground floor, there’s also a sliding door that leads out onto a deck area with a table and chairs — perfect for an evening snack after a long day in the parks.
The decorations have a subtle beach feel with teal accents on the headboards and wood furniture.
Above the beds are nightlights that you can flip on with a switch located near the nightstand.
The nightstand in between the beds has space for your phone and other essentials, along with a resort phone.
Behind the phone, you’ll find outlets (both normal and USB). You can use the resort phone for calling the front desk, ordering room service, and requesting wake-up calls from Disney characters!
Our room also had an entertainment stand with storage space and a TV above it. There was a desk and chair with more outlets and a mirror above it as well.
The room had a map showing us where extra cleaning procedures had been followed for sanitizing it between guests. Our remote was still wrapped in plastic since it was sanitized as well.
Inside the entertainment stand, there was a small fridge so we can keep leftovers and drinks.
The desk had outlets and USB ports, and there were more outlets available on the entertainment stand as well.
We had a view of the landscaping outside, with a deck area that has two chairs and a small table. For privacy, the curtains close over the door.
The bathroom was split into two rooms, with the vanity and sinks in one and the toilet and shower in the other.
The dark wood and patterns in the vanity reminded us of the New England style this resort is known for.
On the sink, we saw toiletries from Disney’s H20+ brand, including body lotion, facial soap, and mouthwash.
On the wall beside the vanity, there’s a light-up mirror that pulls out from the wall.
The door between the rooms had a full-length mirror attached as well.
Here’s a look at the toilet and shower area…
…and a closer view of the shower. Can you spot the hidden Mickeys?
There they are! The shower curtain has subtle Mickey designs on it in bubbles.
We checked out the details of the tile work in the shower…
…as well as more H20+ toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bath soap.
Outside the bathroom, near our room’s entrance, there’s a small area with a coffee machine and all the fixings you need for your morning cup. We thought the Mickey and Minnie art above it was adorable!
There’s also a pretty spacious closet with hangers, suitcase stands, and an extra pillow and blanket. The doors slide close to save space.
Inside the closet, you’ll also find an iron and ironing board…
…as well as a safe to store any valuables you’d like to keep locked away.
And that about wraps up our tour of the Beach Club room!
