We’ve seen many Disney park closures over the years.
All the parks around the world had massive closures last year (and into this year) due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but they’ve also closed in the past for various weather conditions. Shanghai Disney Resort was closed this week for that very reason, but it’ll soon be back up and running!
Shanghai Disneyland, Disneytown, and Wishing Star Park all closed temporarily earlier this week due to the effects of Typhoon Chanthu. Now that the storm has passed, Shanghai Disney Resort has announced plans to reopen on Wednesday, September 15th.
On Wednesday, Shanghai Disneyland will be open from 10:00-20:30 and Disneytown will be open from 10:00-21:00. At this time, Wishing Star Park will remain closed. Guests are encouraged to visit the Resort’s app for the most up-to-date opening information.
