We’re back with some more unexpected news from Disney World!
This week brought us Star Wars: Rise of The Resistance news, new merchandise, and a few things missing in Disney World. Let’s dig in!
Mickey Pumpkin Wreaths
This week we discovered that the fall favorite Mickey Pumpkin Wreaths were replaced in Magic Kingdom. Now, you’ll find Cinderella Carriage Wreaths throughout the park.
The Cinderella wreaths are part of Disney’s 50th anniversary decor, though we have to say we miss the iconic Mickey Pumpkins. It’s not even Halloween yet, Disney!
Here are more photos of the new Cinderella Carriage Wreaths!
Buzz Lightyear Missing
Buzz Lightyear is missing from his own ride in Magic Kingdom, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin! When we visited the ride, he was no longer at his usual spot in the ride queue.

There’s now a black curtain with the Star Command logo where Buzz once stood, so we’ll keep checking back for the return of the ride’s star.

Let the Magic Begin
Although we haven’t seen the Magic Kingdom morning stage show, “Let the Magic Begin,” since Disney World closed in March 2020, there are now showtimes listed beginning on October 1st! This morning show once greeted guests with different Disney characters in front of Cinderella Castle.
As of right now, Disney lists times for the show in the evening instead of the morning, so we’ll be checking back frequently since that likely a glitch.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
After pausing Boarding Groups, Disney has now added Rise of the Resistance to Early Theme Park Entry! Early Theme Park Entry grants select Disney World Resort hotel guests entrance into Disney Parks 30 minutes before opening.
Previously, Rise of the Resistance was NOT listed on the Early Theme Park Entry rides list, but since it has been added it could really make a difference for people trying to ride it with the shortest line possible.

Electrical Water Pageant
The Electrical Water Pageant will be getting new scenes for Disney World’s 50th anniversary! This nightly water show takes place on the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, and the new scenes will also feature the 50th anniversary anthem song “The Magic is Calling.”
This show is visible from resorts such as Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and Disney’s Fort Wilderness.
