Looking for a way to get some serious, gummy worm-fueled refreshment in Disney World?
There is just something about Halloween that makes Disney want to roll out the cocktails and mocktails filled with gummy worms. Look, we get it, worms are spooky — but BOY does Disney World love those wriggly gummies. It just wouldn’t be the spooky season without a wriggly worm spilling out of our drink.
We were strolling through Animal Kingdom today when we spotted the Monster drink available at Isle of Java in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! What’s that we see? Gummy worms and a glow cube!? It must be Halloween!
This drink is made with POG Juice (Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava) with Watermelon and Citrus, Gummy Worms, and a Glow Cube. As a note, the sign said that the drink is made with pineapple instead of passion fruit, but Cast Members told us this was a misprint and it IS passion fruit!
The POG juice was the main flavor here (and we’re not complaining). Anyone who loves POG juice will recognize those flavors straight away! We also thought that it was pretty easy to pick out the watermelon and citrus notes too.
Unsurprisingly, this drink was VERY sweet with all those fruit juices (and the candy!). We thought it would be the perfect alcoholic drink, but this one is nonalcoholic. Kids would certainly enjoy the sweet and fruity flavors.
If you want to give the Monster a try, you can find it at Isle of Java RIGHT NOW for $8.49. Head on over to give it a sip and snack on a gummy worm for us when you do. As always, keep an eye on DFB for the latest Disney reviews!
