What’s New at EPCOT: We Rode Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Tried a NEW Food and Wine Festival Item

Welcome back to EPCOT, where nothing is really going on these days (we’re joking; there’s TONS going on lately at this park!). With Space 220’s long-awaited opening just a few weeks away, we’re buzzing with excitement every time we visit EPCOT these days.

EPCOT

Let’s check up on what’s new at EPCOT, including some exciting developments in the France Pavilion as Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure prepares to officially open for guests on October 1st!

EPCOT Food Updates

The Donut Box

Over at The Donut Box, we tried their new Boston Cream Pie Donut! We’ve been frequenting this location during the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, which has been going strong since mid-July.

Boston Cream Pie Donut

Available for $5, this donut is a classic Boston Cream Pie donut topped with chocolate frosting and chocolate shavings and filled with custard. Overall, this was one of the better donuts we’ve tried this year at The Donut Box, and the toppings and filling were both really tasty!

LOADS of filling in this one.

We also noticed that their Cookies and Cream donut has returned to the menu. The Donut Box features a rotating menu of specialty donuts, so your options may be different on your next visit!

EPCOT General Updates

Over in the Norway Pavilion, a temporary Florida Blue lounge opened as part of the new sponsorship with Disney, open now through the end of the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. The lounge is only available for Florida Blue Cross Blue Shield members and employees.

Florida Blue Cross Blue Shield Lounge

Information on how to enter is on Florida Blue’s website. Once in the lounge, which is located inside Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, complementary snacks and beverages are offered. Masks must be worn upon entering, but may be removed once you are seated at your table. Form there, the refreshments are brought to you via a snack cart.

We also spotted the sign above the entrance of the newly reimagined Club Cool, now visible over in Future World!

There it is!

Imagineer Zach Riddley already gave us a sneak peek at the entrance on Instagram, but it was exciting to see the sign in person this week! We can’t wait to get back inside (and sip on a sample of Beverly once more!) soon! We’ll keep an eye out for any announcements on when we can expect EPCOT’s new Club Cool to open.

We also wanted to give you an exciting update on the latest progress happening over in the France Pavilion as we get ready for the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! The ride is currently offering PREVIEWS ahead of its official opening on October 1st, but guests are still able to walk around the courtyard area outside of the ride!

France Pavilion expansion

We were able to experience the attraction ourselves earlier this week, but we also love the courtyard! This is such a pretty area of the park! Unfortunately we can’t show you inside of the attraction quite yet.

So pretty!

Stay tuned for more information as Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure gets closer and closer to its opening date and previews continue throughout the month of September!
