Hello, DFB friends! We visited some Disney World Resort Hotels this week and we have a lot of updates!
Disney’s Contemporary Resort continues to be under construction, while the entrance of Disney’s Polynesian Resort is open again! Let’s get into it!
Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Miscellaneous Updates
Gasparilla Island Grill
We found an incredible chocolate cauldron sculpture at Gasparilla Island Grill in Disney’s Grand Floridian! It was hand-decorated by Cast Members at the bakery and it features multiple villains, including the Evil Queen.
This is for display only so we can’t eat it, but it’s so beautiful that we wouldn’t eat it anyway!
See more photos of the chocolate cauldron sculpture here!
Also, we found that last year’s Halloween refillable mugs have returned for $19.99 each. We saw this design in 2019 too.
These mugs are refillable at drink stations in quick service locations in Disney World hotels.
Here are more photos of the refillable Halloween mug!
Basin White
In Basin White, you can now purchase new Halloween-themed bath bombs and soaps, like these Cauldron Bath Bombs for $9.99 each.
We also saw a creepy cute Mickey soap shaped like a pumpkin with Mickey eyes for $5.99!
And there were also Halloween gift bags available.
So stop in Basin White for some fun Halloween and Disney soaps!
Curiouser Clothiers
We also saw a new-to-us long-sleeve t-shirt for $36.99. This t-shirt has the Grand Floridian logo on the front.
You can find it in the Grand Floridian’s gift shop.
Check out this ornament for Grand Floridian fans!
Disney’s Contemporary Resort Construction Updates
At the Contemporary Resort, construction continues to progress. We noticed new light fixtures on the first floor near the elevators.
Still, lots of construction remains at the Contemporary.
There were also three large greenery Mickey plants outside at the back of the resort.
And the play area by the pool is still blocked off and continues to be worked on.
The Contemporary is under construction while it’s re-themed with a The Incredibles look.
Check out the new fireworks dinner package at the Contemporary!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Construction Updates
BouTiki
Inside BouTiki, the Hide and Seek Tiki statues are back for guests!
You can find them throughout the shop inside the Polynesian Resort.
There’s even one outside the window!
And the front entrance of the Polynesian is now open!
Guests can now see the fresh makeover front entrance, including a new stone walkway and lots of beautiful landscaping and greenery.
See more photos of the Polynesian Village Resort front entrance here!
Coronado Springs Miscellaneous Updates
Panchito’s
At the Coronado Springs shop, we spotted a new Coronado Springs Tervis tumbler for $26.99.
There were also new-to-us black sunglasses with a silver Spaceship Earth pattern for $19.99.
Rix Sports Bar & Grill
At Rix inside Coronado Springs, there are new injectable donut holes for $11! We tried the Milk Chocolate and Mixed Berry fillings, but you could also choose Bavarian Cream.
One order comes with 10 donut holes and we LOVED the Mixed Berry filling. The donuts were also delicious!

All-Star Movies
At a visit to All-Star Movies, we noticed a new sign outside the food court displaying some food options as well as a QR code for Mobile Order.
Mobile Order is a convenient and fast way to order and pay for quick service food in the My Disney Experience app!
Read more about Mobile Order here!
All-Star Music
And Disney’s All-Star Music hotel officially reopened this week! We were able to visit and take a look at all the new updates, including the check-in area.
We also reserved a room to review, so keep an eye out for more information about All-Star Music!
Here are more photos of Disney’s All-Star Music reopening!
