Would ya look at that? We’ve got ANOTHER 50th Anniversary snack to review in Disney World!

We’ve tried a BUNCH of treats around the parks so far, considering the list of special offerings is quite long. Now, we’re headed to the snack carts at Magic Kingdom to try a revamped version of a classic Disney item!

Say hello to the brand-new Dumbo Churros! Like we mentioned above, you can find them at snack carts around Magic Kingdom, but we got ours from the one outside of Storybook Circus in Fantasyland.

For $7 you get two substantially sized churros. According to Disney, they’re “churros rolled in peanut dust and served with chocolate dipping sauce in a Dumbo-themed churro bag.”

They’re definitely different than what we’ve seen from themed churros before (usually it’s just different colored sugar or icing!), but we were excited to try them out. As far as the taste goes, we were sadly disappointed. The churros themselves are on the stale side, and the peanut flavor wasn’t very strong, though we got it on the back end. They’re pretty dry, but dipping them in the chocolate helped with that.

While we were there, we also got the new Jumbo’s Surprise, a blend of popcorn and Twix candy pieces with a hidden chocolate feather!

You can buy this mix for $6.75, and it comes in a cute little circus-themed cup. How cute!

Now, THIS is a snack we’d buy again and again. Seriously, caramel corn with Twix?! We were huge fans of this one, considering we liked the individual ingredients. Together, they’re a dream combo.
