PHOTOS & VIDEOS: First Look at Magic Kingdom’s NEW Fireworks Dessert Parties!

Happy 50th anniversary, Disney World! We’re so excited about the big celebration that’s happening at the parks!

Cinderella Castle in its 50th Anniversary decor!

And to quote Mickey Mouse, “Oh, Boy!” It has been a busy past few days. We’ve been checking out the new character cavalcade, the new character EARidescent outfits, the SNACKS (ALWAYS the snacks), and more! And of course, we’re SO excited about the NEW Disney Enchantment Fireworks!

Speaking of fireworks, we also got a chance to check out the return of Fireworks Dessert Parties at Magic Kingdom! Tonight, we’re  checking out the brand new dessert parties!

Disney Enchantment Treats and Seats

Disney Enchantment Treats and Seats costs $114 per adult and $69 per child, making it the most expensive of the 3 parties. Note that theme park admission is required but not included in the cost, so you’ll need to have a ticket you can use to get into the park.

Welcome to Tomorrowland Terrace!

We checked in at Tomorrowland Terrace and received a wristband to note which fireworks dessert party we were apart of. If you are over the age of 21, you’ll be given an extra wristband.

Wristbands

Although the event is not set to start until 8PM, we were let in about 30 minutes early, so it’s worth checking in early if you have time! Cast Members seat you, so guests do not get to choose where they sit.

Seating

We were brought to a table out on the Tomorrowland Terrace patio and admired the view!

We’ll take this table!

No complaints here!

Now onto the food! There are LOTS of desserts to choose from including a Chilling Chamber Pop, Oreo Cheesecake Mousse, and Devil’s Chocolate Pudding…

…as well as cheese and crackers, Firehouse Doughnuts, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Tres Leche, and more!

Here’s a look at everything we tried!

The full spread

As we mentioned above, alcohol is included in the price of admission.

There are plenty of non alcoholic options as well. Yep, that’s right — it’s the famous POG juice!

After we noshed on some delicious Disney desserts, it was time for Disney Enchantment to begin!

Disney Enchantment

This is truly a great spot to watch the fireworks, and we’re excited that fireworks dessert parties are back.

Disney Enchantment After Party

We were also able to visit the Disney Enchantment After Party. This particular dessert party costs $99 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $59 per child (ages 3 to 9) and happens AFTER the big show. Before the fireworks began, we checked into Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant at 8PM, but were also let in early.

We’re ready for the party!

As the showtime neared, Cast Members escorted us to the Plaza Garden viewing area. Note that this is standing room only.

The view for After Party guests

There was still plenty of room in the standing area!

Plenty of room

Then we watched the fireworks! We’re not crying (yes, yes, we are).

Gorgeous

Even though we didn’t have a seat, the view was incredible!

Such a great view!

After the fireworks, Cast Members escorted us back to Tomorrowland Terrace, where we feasted on a host of beautiful and delicious treats, including some themed around the 50th anniversary.

We’re ready to eat!

These are the exact same treats that we tried at the Treats and Seats party — the biggest difference between these parties is that one guarantees a seat and the other is standing only.

Same eats

The third party called Disney Enchantment Pre-Party is essentially the same as the After Party, but you eat the desserts BEFORE Disney Enchantment starts. The price and standing areas are the same, it just depends on when you want to eat your dessert: before or after the fireworks show!

Dessert Parties

If you want to know more, we will have a full review of the new fireworks dessert parties soon. We’ll be covering EVERY detail of Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebrations, so stay tuned for more!
