EPCOT is usually the best place to get food in Disney World, with delicious food, snacks, and treats around the World Showcase.

But recently we tried even MORE new menu items, which all came out in honor of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. Although there are a few more 50th treats coming to EPCOT during the 18-month-long celebration, we went ahead and ranked all the ones that we’ve tried so far. So here’s our official ranking of EPCOT’s 50th eats and treats, in the order of worst to best.

EPCOT didn’t have a ton of new 50th-inspired snacks (maybe because there’s already so much good food in the park), but of the few that we tried, there were definitely a few winners.

7. 7-Layer Cake — Gelateria Toscana

Coming in as number 7 and last place is the 7-Layer Cake from Gelateria Toscana. It’s described as a blue-and-white 7-layer cake topped with chocolate ganache and gold dust. That’s the first problem with this dessert — we only counted six layers…but maybe we’re missing one somehow?

The cake was moist, and we could taste flavors of almond, raspberry and dark chocolate (from the cake, filling, and ganache, respectively). Although the combination is a classic one, we didn’t love the flavors together in this cake. It was also very heavy and rich, which just didn’t taste great on a hot Florida day. We might have enjoyed the dessert more if we had it as part of a sit-down meal inside. If you want to give it a try, you can get a slice for $10.

6. Golden Stardust — Joffrey’s at the American Adventure pavilion

Joffrey’s is a coffee company with kiosks inside the Disney World parks, and they came out with a new drink for each of the Disney parks in honor of the 50th. At EPCOT, that drink is Golden Stardust, which is a frappe made with Wild Berry Acai topped with Whipped Cream and EARidescent Sprinkles for $6.39.

We actually really liked this drink. It was basically liquid berries and cream — nothing wrong with that! But it didn’t really have unique or exciting flavors. Since you can get a lot of other delicious and refreshing drinks in EPCOT that are more interesting, we had to keep this one low on the list. But like we said, it’s not bad at all! You can try it at the Joffrey’s kiosk in the American Adventure pavilion.

5. EARidescent Croissant Doughnut — Brew-Wing in the Odyssey Events Pavilion

We were SO excited to hear that cronuts have returned to Disney World! This one is an EARidescent cronut, with blue frosting and shiny sprinkles. While we were very happy to see our old friend the cronut again, we were actually a little disappointed when we bit into it.

Although the flavors were absolutely delicious, the cronut itself was pretty tough and difficult to chew. We even went back to try again (in case the first one was just an older or bad batch), but we had the same experience of a stale-tasting cronut. We really wanted this to be good, and it’s not terrible, but cronut fans might be disappointed if they’re expecting a fresh, flaky treat. 4. Lemon Chiffon Cake — Sunshine Seasons

Most of our top pics from EPCOT’s 50th treats come from Sunshine Seasons, which you’ll find in the Land pavilion (where Soarin’ is). The Lemon Chiffon Cake came last of this bunch. It’s a Lemon Chiffon Cake with Blueberry Mousse layers.

This cake was very tasty. The cake itself was light and delicate with a sharp lemon flavor, and it didn’t taste artificial to us. Our only complaint was that there wasn’t a lot of berry flavor to the mousse, and we wish that part would have been more exciting. But anyone who likes fruity and light desserts will likely enjoy this treat! It’s $5.49 at Sunshine Seasons.

3. Remy “Cheese” Cake — Sunshine Seasons

OK, this one is too cute to not be near the top of the list. It’s Remy “Cheese” Cake. Get it??

This cake is mostly just a classic cheesecake and it’s more for the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure but we really enjoyed it. There’s a slight tang to the cheesecake itself (which we enjoyed) and yellow cake layers instead of a traditional pastry base. The cake had a bit of a lemon flavor as well, which we thought was delicious! It’s a light dessert and not a super exciting one, but the theming was so incredible that we have to give it points for that. You can get a slice (wedge?) for $5.49.

2. Mini Chocolate Bundt Cake — Sunshine Seasons

The top of our Sunshine Seasons list was the Mini Chocolate Bundt Cake — we’re chocoholics, can you blame us? This miniature cake is covered in chocolate ganache and filled with chocolate mousse. On top, you’ll find sprinkles, and icing dusted with EARidescent shimmer, as well as a 50th Anniversary garnish made of chocolate.

Everything was right about this cake. The cake itself was moist, the ganache was thick and rich, and the mousse was silky smooth. We’ll definitely be back for this one, and you can get it now for $5.49.

1. La Crêperie de Paris — France Pavilion

Our number 1 pick for EPCOT is La Crepêrie de Paris in the France Pavilion. This might be cheating…in fact we’re pretty sure it is because La Crêperie is a whole restaurant that opened in EPCOT on the 50th Anniversary. Can any single treat really compete with that?

At La Crêperie, you’ll find both sweet and savory crêpes. We’ve tried several of their dishes so far, and you can check out full reviews for them here.

Our favorite crêpes here were some of the dessert ones we tried, including the Red Berries Crêpe for $7.50 and the Gourmande Crêpe (filled with a Nutella-like spread) for $8.95. We also enjoyed the savory crêpes, which had some strong and unique flavors. You can dine in or order at the window if you prefer the counter-service method.

In general, the restaurant isn’t a must-visit for us, but everything we ate there was good, and it was really fun to try all the different crêpe flavors. Plus the whole area around it (the new France pavilion expansion) is just beautiful with fun details and gorgeous decorations.
