It’s almost Halloween, everyone!
Spooky season has been happening in Disney World since early August, with Boo Bash After Hours events, a bunch of festive merchandise, and terrifyingly delicious treats. We’ve had more pumpkin than you can imagine, sweets inspired by classic horror monsters, drinks featuring all the fall flavors, and more. But, the fun isn’t over yet! There are some new food items that are just now being released for a limited time, including one over at Disney’s BoardWalk. Let’s see if it was worth the wait!
This is the Macaroon Pumpkin Pop from BoardWalk Bakery at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.
It’s a coconut macaroon pumpkin on a stick! For starters, that orange “dust” on the outside is actually orange-colored cocoa powder. Yes, it does get a little messy when it gets all over your fingers, but we don’t mind! This isn’t the first treat in Disney World that looks like it is covered in Cheeto dust — the Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Sandwich from Disney’s Animal Kingdom had a similar look!
The top bit is green icing to make a cute stem. It’s a fun Halloween take on a classic snack (and if you don’t want the pumpkin macaroon, you can still get the regular chocolate-dipped ones here, too). Like the traditional macaroon, this is a delicious snack for coconut lovers (like us) and is sure to be a hit with Halloween fans.
This is ONLY available now through October 31st, AKA Halloween, so scurry on over to the BoardWalk to try it out for yourself for $4.29! And, stay tuned to DFB for more Disney Halloween news and updates.
