Review: Disney World’s Latest Halloween Treat is Just BEGGING to Be a Meme

Halloween is almost here, ghouls and goblins!

This is Halloween!

We’ve been celebrating in Disney World since August, with Boo Bash After Hours events, spooky merchandise, and SO MUCH festive fall food. But, there are STILL more Halloween sweets to try! Come along with us as we check out a new treat at one of the Disney World hotels.

Say hello to the Spooky Bat from Le Petit Cafe at Disney’s Riviera Resort!

Oh so scary!

Isn’t it adorable?! This is everything we want from a cute Halloween treat.

Are you kidding?!

The Spooky Bat is a chocolate sans farine biscuit base with chocolate-hazelnut cheesecake and milk chocolate caramel mousse in the center. Then, it’s covered in a dark chocolate glaze and topped with dark chocolate wings and ears, white chocolate teeth, and candy eyes!

Flying by Riviera Resort!

Even though all of those elements sound crazy rich, it really wasn’t to us! This was absolutely delicious. The biscuit is like a thin layer of cake — it was very light and yummy.

How could you not love this little dude?

You can definitely taste that signature cheesecake tang, the chocolate-hazelnut and caramel flavors were more subtle. And, the dark chocolate glaze was the most decadent part of the treat.

The little teeth!

The design of the bat is a bit clunky, but Le Petit Cafe tapes down the bottom of the treat to the box so it doesn’t fall apart and break!

Spooky bat is safe and sound

If you like chocolate and cheesecake, then you’ll LOVE this! Especially because of how cute it is…how could you not love it?!

Sorry little bat, but you just looked too delicious!

The only reason we wouldn’t recommend this treat is if you don’t like chocolate or cheesecake or if you have a nut allergy.

Spooky season has some of the best treats

You can grab the Spooky Bat for $6.99 from now until October 31st, AKA Halloween, at Le Petit Cafe! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney food news and reviews.
