Disney World has launched 150 new food and drink items around the resort in celebration of its 50th Anniversary, which is now in full swing!

The theme parks aren’t the only places to find specialty menu items! The resort hotels are also getting in on the action, and over at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, you can dine on some classic comfort food with a 50th Anniversary twist at Olivia’s Cafe.

Olivia’s Cafe is one of those true hidden gems in Disney World, so we were excited to see they were getting special menu items for the 50th Anniversary! Before our main meal arrived, we ordered the 50th Spam-Cheddar Biscuits with White Gravy and drizzled with Honey. Yep. SPAM. Because nothing says 1971 like Spam, right?

And you know what? These biscuits were AMAZING. We’re talking the perfect Southern comfort food. The biscuits were buttery and cheesy. The flavors were balanced and we loved how the honey drizzle added a touch of sweetness. We also confirmed that the gravy on the biscuits is the same gravy that Olivia’s puts on their Buttermilk Chicken — and that is some DELICIOUS gravy.

The spam was a lot more subtle than we expected — there was just a little bit of diced spam baked into the biscuits. So, yes, we had spam for breakfast at Disney World and it was really good!

HOWEVER, you only get two biscuits, and for the price of $15, we can’t say this is an amazing value. But ultimately, it’s up to you how much you want to spend on 50th anniversary comfort food at Disney World.
