REVIEW: It Took 50 Years to Create This Disney World Snack — And It Was Totally Worth the Wait!

There are SO many new 50th Anniversary snacks and foods to try in Disney World!

There are so many new things to check out!

We’ve been hopping around the parks and resorts trying the more than a hundred new offerings for the special occasion. We’ve already tasted quite a few, but now it’s time to stop by Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort!

At The Artist’s Palette, you’ll find the brand new Creme Brûlée Eclair. It’s made with Creme Brûlée Custard, Sugar Crust, Caramel Ganache, with a Milk Chocolate Disc!

Crème Brulee Éclair

We thought that it was a yummy treat that was nice and light! The sugar brittle on top added a nice extra layer of texture and sweetness. The caramel ganache on top was DELICIOUS but there was only a little stripe of caramel — we really wanted more of it because it was so good!

The Creme Brûlée filling was like a creme brûlée before it gets torched since it didn’t really have a toasty flavor! Regardless, it was a great filling that was the perfect cold temperature. The chocolate medallion (which has been popping up on a lot of 50th Anniversary treats lately) was a nice touch and tasted good! If you’re looking for something similar to a traditional eclair or the flavors of a traditional crème brulee, this is neither of those but it’s definitely still delicious!

If you want to try this eclair, you can buy it for $5.99. Stay tuned to DFB for the latest news and updates on all the treats, snacks, and drinks all around the parks!
