Hello from Walt Disney World!
It’s an exciting time in the parks right now! The 50th anniversary has begun which means new shows, food, and more. But, how did the crowds look leading up to the big day? We’re here to tell you! Here’s a look at all the average wait times in Disney World from this week.
Magic Kingdom
Who is ready to go to Magic Kingdom?! This week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 46 minutes!
After that, we had Jungle Cruise at 43 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 36 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 28 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 24 minutes. Splash Mountain at 23 minutes, Space Mountain at 23 minutes, and Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 21 minutes.
Following behind was Pirates of the Caribbean at 17 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 17 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 15 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 12 minutes, “it’s a small world” at 12 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 11 minutes, and Mickey’s PhilharMagicat 10 minutes.
Down in the single digits, we saw Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 9 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 8 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 8 minutes, Mad Tea Party at 7 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 7 minutes, and Tomorrowland Speedway at 7 minutes.
Finally, we had Carousel of Progress at 3 minutes, Liberty Square Riverboat at 1 minute, Country Bear Jamboree at 0 minutes, Tom Sawyer Island at 0 minutes, Hall of Presidents at 0 minutes, Enchanted Tiki Room at 0 minutes, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse at 0 minutes.
EPCOT
Moving on to EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Frozen Ever After at 35 minutes.
Then, we had Test Track at 34 minutes, Soarin’ at 18 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 13 minutes, and Turtle Talk with Crush at 10 minutes.
Rides with even shorter wait times included Gran Fiesta Tour at 9 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 7 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 6 minutes, Living with the Land at 6 minutes, and Journey into Imagination at 5 minutes.
The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!
Hollywood Studios
Over in Hollywood Studios, we had a new ride taking over the top spot for the first time in forever! Rise of the Resistance had the highest wait time this week at 76 minutes, thanks to the ride switching over to a standby queue.
After that, we had Slinky Dog Dash at 51 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 36 minutes, Tower of Terror at 32 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 32 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 26 minutes, and Toy Story Mania at 25 minutes.
And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 17 minutes, Walt Disney Presents at 15 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 12 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes, and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 6 minutes.
Animal Kingdom
Finally, in Animal Kingdom, the ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 41 minutes.
Then, we had Na’vi River Journey at 28 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 13 minutes, Expedition Everest at 12 minutes, and Kali River Rapids at 10 minutes.
Following behind was DINOSAUR at 9 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 9 minutes, Triceratop Spin at 5 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
