We’ve been pretty jazzed about the latest addition to EPCOT’s American Adventure Pavilion, as “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” exhibit arrived on a high note earlier this year.

If you’ve seen Pixar’s Soul, you’ll know that the film dives into the beauty of jazz music. And, it was only fitting for the matching exhibit to give visitors a “tour” of the cities that originated the genre and caused jazz to become so popular. However, that movement is continuing because the “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” won’t ONLY be exclusive to Disney World anymore!
Disney shared that “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” will be going on its own little tour to three museums across the United States! The exhibit is set to travel to the New Orleans Jazz Museum in New Orleans on October 26th, American Jazz Museum in Kansas City, Missouri on December 10th, and the National Jazz Museum in New York City in February 2022.

As a nod to Pixar’s Soul, you’ll be able to take a photo with Joe Gardner and his bandmates during the exhibit, as well as spot two sculptures inspired by Soul characters Dorothea Williams and Joe. The installments will contain a “collection of artifacts curated by local museums” to round out the featured items in the “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” exhibit.

And, one of the coolest parts is that you’ll be able to interact with the Play Disney Parks mobile app outside of Disney World to learn more about the exhibit at the museums!
