Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Making our own custom popcorn in Disney World sounds like a dream come true! And, now that the Confectionery is open again, you can actually build your own popcorn bag with the “Kernel Kitchen.” However, the rainbow popcorn and sour Skittles options have since been removed from the menu for the time being! But, we’ll keep you updated on if/when they return!
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
Emporium
As the holidays are nearby, we’re sure you’re going to want to bring home plenty of 50th anniversary merchandise. And, the adorable 50th Anniversary Ear Hat is the perfect decoration for your Christmas tree with Mickey and Minnie looking as sweet as ever together.
Also at the Emporium, you can add another MagicBand to your collection with the new themed Dumbo MagicBand that will make you want to “be unique” like our favorite flying elephant.
When the temperature drops in the parks over the coming months, you’re going to want cozy outfits to wear around the parks. The pink Mickey Bucket Hat might end up being your go-to with a soft exterior…
…and wool interior for $39.99!
Or, you can fashion something a little more fun with the Purple Minnie Pom Beanie that comes with a silver bow and matching polka dots for $16.99.
Uptown Jewelers
We can’t help but love all the Dooney & Bourke bags that pop up in Disney World! And, the new Mickey and Friends Holiday collection is no different with the Satchel for $298…
…Tote Bag for $268, and Crossbody Bag for $198.
And, while you’re at Uptown Jewelers, you can also snag even more accessories with the Castle Necklace for $39.99…
…along with the matching Earrings for $39.99 that have a little Mickey head carved into the bottom of the jewelry.
Hundred Acre Goods
Ready to start stocking up on Christmas gifts this year? Then, you’re going to want to head over to the Hundred Acre Goods to pick up new sets of pajamas for your kiddos! You can find the Marie Pajamas…
…and Frozen Pajamas on the shelves to wear on Christmas Day.
Or, you can pick up a pajamas and pillow duo with the Little Mermaid PJ Set…
…and Minnie Mouse PJ Set for $34.99 each.
Main Street Cinema
The 50th Anniversary Playing Cards are great to use whether you try your hand at Go Fish, Blackjack, or even your own made-up game for $12.99.
While we recently spotted the Castle Spandex Shorts around the parks, now they’re over at the Main Street Cinema too! So, you can take them home before your next park walk for $36.99.
Main Street, U.S.A.
Halloween is just around the corner, and we’ve been decorating our homes with plenty of spooky items! But, we think the finishing touch would be the Jack Skellington Balloon that will give everyone hot and cold running chills.
You can find it along Main Street, U.S.A. for only $15!
Find out the details on the Jack Skellington Balloon here!
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe
Mickey and Minnie are an iconic duo, so it only makes sense that the returning holiday ornaments set would make your home look a little more classic this Christmas! The Mickey and Minnie Ornaments are restocked officially at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe for $29.99 (and we can’t WAIT to use them this winter)!
Frontier Trading Post
During the remaining days of October, you can celebrate spooky season with the Haunted Mansion Doom Buggy Pin for $34.99…
…or you can get a little mysterious with the Mystery Socks Pin Bag.
There are 6 pins you have the opportunity to find, including Winnie the Pooh, Chip ‘N Dale, Pain and Panic, and more for $7.99.
Speaking of mysterious things, we’re STILL wanting all the details about what’s happening at the TVA after Loki left us on a big cliffhanger. But, as you try to patiently wait for season two to drop, you can use the new TVA Apple Watch Band…
…or Loki Apple Watch Band for $34.99 instead.
Sir Mickey’s
We practically need a whole separate key ring for all the keychains we’ve collected in Disney World over the years. But, we can’t resist cuties like the PeopleMover Keychain…
…and the Walt Disney World Logo Bling Keychain for $9.99 each.
If you’re looking for something a little more fun, though, the pink Minnie Pom Keychain…
…and squishy Dole Whip Keychain are adorable AND fun to use for $14.99 each.
Bonjour Village Gifts
It might not be new, but the Castle Paint-By-Numbers Painting has been restocked over at Bonjour Village Gifts…
…while you can also find signed artwork that celebrates Walt and Roy Disney in the store!
Calling all Vinylmation collectors! Instead of taking individual figures home on their own, you can choose the 50th Anniversary Vinylmation Set with twelve figures (including a mystery character)!
Magic Kingdom Entertainment Update
Attractions
Now that many attractions around Disney World have standby lines and Lightning Lanes, they can both get pretty busy throughout the day. While we’ve regularly seen signs showing where the standby lines extend past, we also spotted Lightning Lane signs for attractions like the Haunted Mansion…
…and Peter Pan’s Flight that extend past the attractions’ entrances.
Characters
Even with a rainy day out in the Magic Kingdom, Anastasia and Drizella were out living their best lives in their new location again near Cinderella Castle! They might be a bit silly, but we think they’re absolutely hilarious!
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Attractions
As Disney World continues to move forward with construction on PhilharMagic, the Fantasyland-based ride now has its letters removed from its marquee…
…as construction walls surround the attraction during the process of updating it.
Liberty Square Ticket Office
Another guest relations spot has reopened in Disney World! The Liberty Square Ticket Office is open and operating as a guest relations location in the Magic Kingdom next to Sleepy Hollow.
It’s a lot quieter than spots like the Town Hall that tend to attract more guests when they enter the Magic Kingdom. So, you may want to make your way to the Liberty Square Ticket Office instead if you have quick question to avoid longer lines!
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Magic Kingdom! We’ll catch you next time for more updates. And, if you have questions about your upcoming Disney vacation, let us know so we can help you find the answers! Stay tuned with DFB for the latest Disney entertainment and news!
