It’s time for another look at what’s new in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
This week brought us a new Frozen Margarita and lots of new 50th nuiMO merchandise! Check it out.
Animal Kingdom Food Update
At Dawa Bar, we found a sign for Frozen Margaritas for $13. They’re made with Corazon Tequila, Triple Sec, Sweet-and-Sour, and fresh Orange Juice.
They’re frozen and ready for pouring!

Animal Kingdom Construction Update
Primeval Whirl construction continues to progress as Disney dismantles the ride. The DinoLand ride closed in 2020 and just recently began undergoing construction.
Along with construction walls, pieces of Whirl have now been removed. Disney has not yet announced the replacement plans for this ride.

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Update
Riverside Depot
The Blue Snowflake Mickey Balloon light-up ears have returned to Disney World! Yes, in October.
There’s a new Princess Art Kit consisting of paints, markers, and more for $29.99.
We found a new Disney Terrarium Pin featuring Jacques and Gus from Cinderella.
These pins are limited edition and cost $19.99 each.
Serka Zong
In Serka Zong, we saw a new addition to the Disney Babies Plushes, this time with Baloo from The Jungle Book!
His little swaddle is designed with a print of animals, including dancing monkeys. It costs $34.99.
Mombasa Marketplace
There are new 50th anniversary Collectible Medallions at Mombasa Marketplace. You can find them at this kiosk.
There are several new designs inspired by the 50th anniversary, and they cost $5 each or 4 for $15.
You can take a look at the coins below! The new designs include Simba, Bambi, Timon, and Pumbaa, with a Mickey on the back of the coin!
Discovery Trading
There were two new ears in Discovery Trading, including the Olive Minnie Ears we saw recently in Disneyland that may or may not remind us of grandma’s couch.
The Blue Velvet Ears feature a blue chevron design with a sparkly blue bow. The ears are made with a velvety material.
Both ears cost $29.99.

There were lots of new 50th anniversary accessories for nuiMOs! Each outfit cost $12.99.
There’s this adorable skirt and Minnie ear headband set…
…an EARidescent hoodie and teeny tiny backpack…
…and a Mickey hat and matching outfit!
And some of the outfits reminded us of going to Disney World in the 80s!

Dino Institute Gift Shop
We also found this awesome new dinosaur in the Dino Institute Gift Shop! It costs $22.95.
