Which Parks are Still Available During the Holidays in Disney World?

The air is getting cooler and holiday decorations are slowly popping up…that can only mean one thing: the holiday season is approaching!

Christmas Tree in Hollywood Studios

We can’t wait for all of the exciting seasonal offerings coming to Disney World, like EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays and Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours parties! With so much festive fun to look forward to, we decided to check in on the park pass availability for the holiday season. Are there any park passes left? Let’s take a look!

Theme Park Tickets/Select Resort Hotels

Interestingly, Christmas day is still showing availability in all four parks for theme park ticket holders and select resort hotel guests! New Year’s Eve, on the other hand, is already full in two parks: Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. If you were hoping to count down to 2022 in Disney World, you’ll have to find somewhere else to watch the fireworks for now (hotel staycation, anyone?).

New Year’s Day is still wide open, though! What better way to kick off the new year than by visiting the Magic Kingdom? Currently, the entire month of January is open, so make your park pass reservations now to secure a spot in your favorite park!

We’ll continue to monitor the theme park pass availability, so stay tuned and keep checking in to find out if any more holidays fill up.

Annual Passholders

There are only two annual pass options (the Incredi Pass and the Sorcerer Pass) that allow guests to make theme park reservations in late December and early January. For annual passholders with the Incredi Pass, December 25th is showing no availability in the Magic Kingdom, but Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT are still available to reserve on Christmas day.

For those still hoping to visit Disney World on Christmas day, you might want to make a theme park pass reservation as soon as possible!

New Year’s Eve in the Magic Kingdom is also sold out, and the other three parks still have availability that day.

Meanwhile, the Sorcerer Pass (and the Pirate and Pixie Dust Pass) is blocked from reserving a park pass in late December. It looks like New Year’s day is still wide open for guests to make a reservation!
