Since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closures of theme parks and the cancelations of travel plans worldwide in March of 2020, we’ve been keeping a close eye on Adventures By Disney as they continue to update their health and safety guidelines, as well as monitoring any upcoming itineraries that are modified or canceled.

If you’re 2022 plans include vacations through Adventures By Disney, there is an important vaccine policy update you’ll need to know ahead of your travels.

Up until departures starting on January 12th, 2022, guests must be fully vaccinated or present a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 5 days prior to the start of the trip. That policy will now change after January 12th.

Disney has released a statement saying, “For departures beginning on or after January 12, 2022, all Guests must provide proof of being fully vaccinated before joining any trip. For departures beginning on or after January 12, 2022, proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result will no longer be accepted as an alternative.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) defines fully vaccinated as 14 days after receiving either a single-dose of an accepted 1-dose vaccine, or the second dose of an accepted 2-dose vaccine.
