Super Nintendo World is currently closed following a fire on Yoshi’s Adventure in Universal Studios Japan.
The park put out an official tweet, which when translated to English, reads, “Today, November 24th (Wednesday), ‘Super Nintendo World’ will be closed all day for inspection. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
FNN reports that a fire broke out at 11:30 PM on November 23rd in the attic. A Team Member quickly notified authorities, and the flames were put out with an extinguisher. No injuries or major damage were reported, but the incident was enough to cause the land to close for a full inspection of the ride.
This isn’t the first time the attraction has caused trouble. Back in August, the ride was closed after a stack of Goombas fell. No reopening date for Yoshi’s Adventure or Super Nintendo World at large has been announced as of the writing of this article.
