With a monumental anniversary like The Walt Disney Company’s centennial, it’s never too early to start getting ready, and it looks like fans will get their first look at the celebration this weekend.
Disney CEO Bob Chapek recently stated that Destination D23, happening November 19th-21st at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Walt Disney World, will provide a sneak peek at the company’s plans for its 100th anniversary happening in 2023, which will “set the tone” for the coming years.
Previously, it was announced that details pertaining to the 100th would be revealed at the 2022 D23 Expo, but it seems that the timeline has been pushed up. Chapek himself will not be at the event, claiming that his responsibilities as CEO make it “impossible” for him to appear.
