Don’t Skip These 7 Returning Eats at the 2021 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

The four-month-long Food & Wine Festival is slowly drawing to a close at EPCOT, but don’t be sad, because another festival is coming in its place!

EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays kicks off at the park on November 26th and runs through December 30th. Throughout the fest, you’ll be able to experience special merchandise, themed entertainment, and most of all, delicious holiday eats and drinks from around the world. We got the menus for the festival recently, and today we’re sharing the 7 returning items that you definitely don’t want to miss!

Giant Tostada de Chorizo

Let’s start out in Mexico and head over to Las Posadas! Here, the Giant Tostada de Chorizo is returning again. The giant tostadas here have been on our Best of the Fest rankings for the past two years.

Giant Tostada de Chorizo

Last year brought the chorizo version, and we were HUGE fans. There are a lot of great flavors going on in this treat, and we can’t wait to order it again this year!

New Year Celebration Soba

Next up on our list is the New Year Celebration Soba at Shi Wasu Holiday Kitchen. This soup has been at the Japan booth for a few years now, and it’s basically a Festival of the Holidays staple!

New Year Celebration Soba

Last year it made our Best of the Fest list, so we’re definitely recommending that you try it in 2021. Hot soup is especially comforting on a cold winter day, so if Florida happens to get a cold snap in the next few months, add this to your must-do list!

Pork Schnitzel

Now let’s head on over to Bavaria Holiday Kitchen for some classics! First up is the Pork Schnitzel, served with Mushroom Sauce, Spätzle, and Braised Red Cabbage. This is comfort food at its finest.

Pork Schnitzel with Mushroom Sauce and Spaetzle

This is another “Best of the Fest” kind of food, and it has become a staple of the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen in the past few years.

Cheese Fondue in a Bread Bowl

Okay, hopefully, we really only need to say this one time: CHEESE. IN A BREAD BOWL. What could be wrong with that?! Literally, nothing.

Cheese Fondue

The Cheese Fondue in a Bread Bowl is a DFB favorite at the Bavaria booth as well, and it’s served alongside vegetables. If you’re a cheese-lover the way that we are, you definitely don’t want to skip this one on your next trip!

Slow-Roasted Turkey

If you’re searching for a holiday classic, look no further than the American Holiday Table. Here, you can order the Slow-Roasted Turkey, which comes with BEN’S ORIGINAL Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Cranberry Sauce.

Slow Roasted Turkey

Every year, this booth serves up some kind of turkey dish (it’s an American classic!) and last year, it was particularly delicious. We can’t wait to test out the 2021 version and see if it’s up to scratch.

Pastrami On Rye

What if you don’t celebrate Christmas? Well, the L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen may be just for you! Last year, the Pastrami on Rye made our Best of the Fest list, so it’s a frontrunner going into the festival again.

The sandwich comes topped with House-Made Pickles and Deli Mustard, so you know that it has got to be good! Sometimes, there’s nothing quite like a simple sandwich to fill you up.

Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini

At Le Marche de Noel, the holiday kitchen in France, they take a popular winter beverage and amp it up a bit for adults only. Here, you can order a Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini, and according to last year’s reviews, it’s every bit as glorious as it sounds!

Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini

The drink is made of vanilla vodka, vodka, chocolate milk, and whipped cream, all frozen to fit in with the Florida atmosphere. If that sounds delicious to you, then make sure to stop by in a few weeks and pick one up!

That wraps up our pre-festival list of things you need to try! When the fest kicks off, we’ll be there on opening day to taste everything and let you know what’s still good and what you can skip. Stay tuned to DFB for all the coverage live from Disney World!
