EXPLORING THE NEW SWAN RESERVE RESORT AT DISNEY WORLD

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin have opened a new building! This extension, called the Swan Reserve, adds new dining options, meeting spaces, event venues, and multiple rooms types to the luxurious resort. A few days ago, we got the chance to take a detailed tour of the hotel and everything is has to offer. Come along with us as we explore the newest Walt Disney World resort!

THE LOBBY

Upon entering the Swan Reserve, we immediately noticed how clean and contemporary it looked. This inital entry point serves as a convenient central point of the resort. We then took an escalator up to the next floor, which is where the lobby is located. At the top of the escalator, we found the front desk and concierge directly ahead, with a nice seating area across from them. The lobby bar, called Stir, overlooked the pool and provided outlets and USB chargers. A beautiful lobby indeed!

THE POOL

Just beyond the lobby sits the pool area! While less elaborate (and perhaps smaller) than many Walt Disney World pools, we still found this one to be very nice. The poolside area is donned with many lounge chairs and cabanas for guests to enjoy, as well as a fire pit for the cooler nights. The citrus-themed pool bar, called Tangerine, is situated just across from the water, and serves a variety of yummy cocktails.

DINING

Alongside the two bars, Stir and Tangerine, the Swan Reserve also offers two restaurants – Grounds and Amare. Grounds is a relaxed quick-service location that offers coffee, breakfast items, snacks, beverages, and other grab-and-go options. The hotel’s signature dining option, Amare, offers an inviting, modern atmosphere and a delicious array of Mediterranean cuisine.

THE ROOMS

The Swan Reserve offers multiple room types, including Traditional, Junior, Signature, and Chairmain suites. The Traditional suites are the most basic ones, including two queen beds (or one king) and several view options, such as Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, or the pool. The Chairman suite serves as the exectutive suite, and includes the most space and amenities. The rooms we toured had incredible views, and we can’t wait to experience one of our own on our next staycation!
