To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact a Disney Parks visit.
As the world continues to change, so does Disney. Throughout the pandemic, Disney parks have adapted their vaccine and mask policies to follow local laws while also ensuring health and safety.
Today, we’ve got an update about Disney World’s Cast Member vaccination policy.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Disney World has paused its vaccination requirement, following new legislation from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis preventing companies from having vaccination requirements for continued employment. However, unvaccinated Cast Members can still be required to do frequent testing and wear protective gear like masks and gloves under the new law.
Previously, Disney World had made an agreement with the Cast Members’ union that Cast Members had until October 22, 2021 to be vaccinated.
We’ll continue to keep you updated if there are any changes to this policy, so stay tuned.
