Patrick Dougall has shared a video on Twitter of a guest climbing Mythos Restaurant in Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
The guest can be seen hoisting themself over one of the restaurant’s shorter walls and onto the roof.
Just a week ago, a guest was seen climbing rocks across the country in Disney California Adventure.

If you’ve noticed the store shelves in your hometown are looking a little thinned out this holiday season, then you may be wondering what the supply situation is like in Disney World! Over at Tatooine Traders, we learned that they are temporarily unable to offer build-your-own lightsabers due to shipping and supply issues.

For the time being, guests are only able to purchase ready-made lightsabers for $30. The built-your-own lightsaber area is currently being used as a pin trading location in the meantime.

This shirt features Cinderella Castle and Mickey in his conductor uniform. It says “Walt Disney World Magical Since 1971.”
This sweatshirt features Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck celebrating “good times.”
These sweatpants have “love” embroidered at the top and “friends forever” at the bottom of one leg.
Characters pictured on the pants include Mickey, Minnie, Clarabelle Cow, Chip, and Dale.
Mickey is on the back pocket, which also says “forever Mickey.”

It’s time for the holidays in Disney World! Are you ready to try MORE festive treats?
It’s the Christmas season!
The 2021 Festival of the Holidays recently debuted in EPCOT, and you can also try lots of new and returning holiday treats around the World Showcase. We found two holiday treats at a favorite spot in France, and we wouldn’t blame you for getting both of them, even if you just wanted some REALLY pretty photos.
At L’Artisan des Glaces in EPCOT’s France pavilion, you can find some delicious sweet treats, like ice cream, sorbet, and even a macaron ice cream sandwich.

The Seasonal Holiday Macaron has returned, and it’s is an interesting mix of almond-flavored macaron with mint ice cream sandwiched in between. The macaron is red and green for the holidays and can we just say — it’s beautiful.

We thought this festive macaron was delicious! It would be especially enjoyed by mint lovers, but we really loved the almond flavors too.

This flavor combo might not be for everyone but we really liked it, though we wish the ice cream had been almond chocolate chunk flavor instead of mint. You can get this Seasonal Holiday Macaron for $7.

And L’Artisan des Glaces also has their seasonal Gingerbread Ice Cream! We got a single scoop in a cone for $5.25, but you can also get a single (or double!) scoop in a cup.

This ice cream is gingerbread-flavored and we loved that it even had small gingerbread pieces in the ice cream! In fact, this was our favorite holiday treat at L’Artisan.

The gingerbread flavor wasn’t particularly strong, but if you like gingerbread you’ll love this ice cream. The pieces of gingerbread really enhance the flavor too.

Things with the COVID-19 pandemic have continued to change and develop over the past several months.

More recently, a new variant was discovered, which has led to travel restrictions and more. Now, the World Health Organization has some specific travel advice in light of this new variant.
According to a recent article released by the World Health Organization (WHO), the WHO has designated the new variant, Omicron, as a “variant of concern.” The WHO article then discusses a bit more about the travel restrictions that are being put in place by various countries in response to the discovery of this new variant.

The WHO also noted that the “Omicron variant has a large number of mutations, some of which are concerning.” It also shared that the initial evidence “suggests an increased risk of reinfection with this variant” and it is expected that this new variant will be detected in an increasing number of countries.
The WHO shared that “while scientific research is underway to understand” more about this variant, it advises a number of things. There is then a list of advice from the WHO including specific suggestions about what type of travel restrictions should be utilized and more. The WHO specifically noted that blanket travel bans won’t prevent the spread and place a heavy burden on lives.
Airport Crowds
At the end of its list of advice, the WHO notes that “Persons who are unwell or at risk of developing severe COVID-19 disease and dying, including people 60 years of age or older or those with comorbidities (e.g. heart disease, cancer and diabetes), should be advised to postpone travel.”
The WHO also advised that all travels remain vigilant for signs and symptoms of COVID-19, get vaccinated, and adhere to public health measures at all times.

The U.S. has imposed travel bans on select countries due to the new variant. We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more news on this situation and let you know what we find.
