Crews are working on constructing several new structures for Journey of Water, a walkthrough attraction inspired by “Moana,” in the center of EPCOT.
During our last few updates, we’ve taken a look at excavation for the attraction and seen the beginnings of some new structures in the area.
The two structures we previously saw in the ground have now been encased in concrete.
Higher up, on ground level, is a structure of exposed wood.
We’ll likely see this one encased in concrete soon as well.
Large piles of dirt from excavation sit next to the holes in the ground.
The concrete structure at the center of the photo above was the first built for the attraction.
Journey of Water is expected to possibly open in 2022, although an opening date has not been announced and many construction projects were delayed due to COVID-19.
