There has been some major progress on the construction of TRON Lightcycle / Run since our last update. There’s currently no opening date for the coaster but it seems the exterior is finally coming together as several new elements have been added.
The mystery structure next to the coaster now has walls on one side.
We can still see inside the structure from Storybook Circus.
Crew members were working inside this morning.
The large crane has returned to the construction site and is sitting on the opposite side from the mystery structure.
Scaffolding is still visible where the coaster enters the show building.
From the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, we got a better look at the scaffolding, which covers part of the building.
We also got a look at the crane, towering over the coaster’s canopy and the Tomorrowland Speedway.
A new archway has been installed where guests will enter the building to board the coaster.
This white archway goes all the way over the walkway.
Crew members in a cherry-picker near the crane seemed to be working on the entrance area.
More crew members were working on the pathway that goes directly under the coaster and canopy.
Guests will walk under the coaster before circling around to enter the building.
We could see new elements on one edge of the canopy framework.
Flat spinal paneling has been added to the underside of the edge.
Crew members were on the ground near an area sectioned off by concrete walls.
The pathway in the center-right of the photo above is where the Walt Disney World Railroad will travel.
The walkway beneath the coaster is still covered in dirt and the railings are just planks of wood and orange netting.
Another construction vehicle was moving dirt on the ground.
