Slow-Roasted Turkey with Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and Cranberry Sauce – $5.75
Served with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce, this is classic American holiday food and tastes great when combined into a single bite. The cranberry was especially prominent without being overpowering.
Holiday Pot Pie with Jackfruit, Mushrooms, Carrots, Peas, Onions, and Puff Pastry – $5.50
There aren’t a lot of guts to this pot pie. We cut into it, and the cup was maybe a fifth full, making this instantly not worth getting.
The cream was fine, and the vegetables were well-cooked. The jackfruit didn’t impress us.
If you’re vegan, you would probably enjoy this. There’s a higher proportion of pie crust to filling.
Pumpkin Gingerbread Cheesecake with Cranberry Whipped Cream and Candied Pumpkin Seeds – $4.50
This almost had more of a yam taste than a pumpkin taste, but the ginger flavor in the crust is good. The crust is more like cake than cookie crust.
It’s not sweet at all, but the cranberry whipped cream on top adds a little sweetness to the rest of the cake. Overall, it’s good, but not great.
Chocolate Crinkle Cookie made with DOVE Dark Chocolate – $2.50
This chocolate crinkle cookie is great. It’s a chocolate cookie that is very well made.
It’s soft and doughy, with a crunch on the edges, and covered in confectioners sugar.
It is soft in the center and the Dove chocolate adds just enough richness.
The powdered sugar gets everywhere, but it’s worth it. We suggest not passing on it, especially for the price.
Bell’s Bright White Ale, Comstock, MI – $5.00 (6 oz.) / $9.00 (12 oz.)
From Bell’s Brewery: “An alternative to dark and heavy winter warmers and stouts, Bright White® (formerly Winter White) is a stylish and refreshing Wheat Ale. Fermented with a Belgian ale yeast, a blend of barley and wheat malts yields a mixture of clove and fruity aromas, all without the use of any spices.”
Shipyard Eggnog White Porter, Clearwater, FL – $5.00 (6 oz.) / $9.00 (12 oz.)
From correspondence with 3 Daughters Brewing: “A beer brewed for sunny Florida winters, the Egg Nog Porter brings an easy-drinking vibe to the seasonal treat. Full of smooth, rich chocolate and coffee flavors, this white porter maintains a lighter body while still blanketing the taste buds in holiday cheer.”
Playalinda Brewing Co. Peppermint Chocolate Stout, Titusville, FL – $5.00 (6 oz.) / $9.00 (12 oz.)
This Peppermint Chocolate Stout is very rich, and you can definitely taste the chocolate.
The peppermint taste gets a little lost, but it’s very aromatic.
Regional White Wine – $7.00
Regional Red Wine – $6.00
Beer Flight – $9.75
