PHOTOS & VIDEOS: Holiday Decorations Have Arrived in Magic Kingdom!

Halloween may have just ended, and it’s very much still the middle of fall, but that isn’t stopping Disney from already celebrating the holidays!

Yep, these went up before Halloween

Disney World doesn’t mess around when it comes to the holiday season, with some decorations going up literal weeks before Halloween this year. There has also been new holiday merchandise spotted in the parks, the first Disney’s Very Merriest After Hours event is coming up soon, and we know about all the special holiday food coming to Disney this holiday season. Today, we spotted another reason to get excited for the season!

The first holiday decorations have arrived in Magic Kingdom!

When we arrived at the park today and headed down Main Street, U.S.A., we noticed that the big and beautiful Christmas Tree arrived overnight!

And from what it looks like, the design is quite different from what we saw last year. Last year’s tree seemed to feature many more red elements in the form of red bows under the candle decorations in particular.

This year’s tree seems to feature much more gold and silver in terms of its overall decor, with some colored ornaments sprinkled throughout.

Garlands, ornaments, and lights have also been strung with care on the Main Street Train Station to greet guests of all ages…

…as well as the shops leading towards Cinderella Castle!

We spotted some special wreathes along the entryway to Magic Kingdom with unique decorations, including pineapples!

We also spotted more wreathes hung around the park to add that finishing touch to the other beautiful holiday decorations that have already arrived.

Even the popcorn carts received a festive makeover fit for the holiday season! And, somehow, they make us crave that salty and buttery popcorn all the more as the temperature drops and our holiday sweaters come out of our closets.

It seems the holiday decor in many places throughout Magic Kingdom has received a bit of a golden makeover.

For comparison, the photo below is what the decorations looked like last year. It seems there are lots more golden touches in place this year, likely to keep the decor in theme with Disney World’s 50th Anniversary!

Anybody else getting a little emotional just seeing this decor?!

The holiday decor doesn’t just start in the park though. We also spotted some holiday touches at the Transportation and Ticket Center…

…and at the gate to the Magic Kingdom parking.

We can’t wait to see what other decorations will soon be up around the parks! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney World holiday news and updates.
