There’s still a lot of work to be done in Tomorrowland before the Walt Disney World Railroad can reopen. Thankfully, we’ve been seeing some progress on the classic attraction, which will soon run underneath TRON Lightcycle / Run.
We haven’t seen much of anything going on at the Storybook Circus train station in the past six months, but a fresh tarp has just been laid down on the gravel.
The gravel is on an area currently devoid of track and is being held down with orange cones.
Meanwhile, we’ve seen crew members at TRON Lightcycle / Run focusing on this structure between the train station and the coaster.
We are still waiting to see the final canopy installed above the coaster track.
From the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, we saw crew members working on the canopy framework and beneath the coaster.
They have been installing lights and more supports for the final canopy.
The pathway behind this construction vehicle is where the Walt Disney World Railroad will run directly beneath the coaster.
