REVIEW: Disneyland Took the Cream Cheese Pretzel and Said “Make It Christmas”

We went to Disneyland’s first ever Merriest Nites last night, and we also visited the Festival of Holidays in Disney California Adventure.

So basically we’ve officially embraced the holiday spirit in both Disneyland parks, especially since there’s a LOT of delicious food available at both of these events. Between the holiday Marketplace booths at Festival of Holidays and the 20 specialty eats and treats at Merriest Nites…we’re feeling a little stuffed right about now. Let’s take a look at one of the most interesting snacks we tried at Merriest Nites!

At the Tomorrowland Pretzel Cart in Disneyland, we found a very delicious sounding holiday treat — the Milk-n-Cookies Pretzel.

This is a cream cheese-filled pretzel that’s been smothered in sweet icing, topped with chocolate cookie crumbles, and drizzled with sweetened condensed milk.

It’s like Disneyland took our beloved cream cheese pretzel and said “OK, but make it Christmas“…and also a WHOLE lot sweeter.

WOW that looks sweet

This pretzel is what would happen if a soggy Oreo and warm dirt cake had a baby. It’s so incredibly sweet that you won’t even believe the pretzel part is there at all. You get a little hint of saltiness, but not much. Basically, the pretzel is just the vehicle to get insane amounts of sugar into your mouth.

SO sweet

It’s incredibly sweet, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t enjoy it! If you’re a big chocolate or cream cheese fan, we think you’ll LOVE this dessert. But you might want to consider sharing, because it’s a lot, and it’s also very rich.

Here’s your warning to get a fork and knife if you’re going to tackle this treat — it’s quite messy! And if you don’t love super sweet treats, maybe check out some of the other desserts around, because this will almost definitely be too sugary for you.
