REVIEW: Mickey Shaped Beignets Got a Holiday Makeover at Disneyland Resort

It’s the holiday season at Disneyland Resort!

Main Street lookin’ pretty!

The festivities officially started on Friday, November 12th, with the first Disney Merriest Nites After Hours event in Disneyland Park. Festival of Holidays is also going on at Disney California Adventure, with a ton of fun holiday food, entertainment, and more! In addition to these events, Disneyland also has a bunch of new seasonal treats you can try out on your trip, including a classic Mickey shaped sweet with a twist!

The Peppermint Beignets are back once again in Disneyland Park! So, of course we had to try them out.

Lots of sugar!

We went over to the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square to pick them up. You can get a 3 pack for $5.49 or a 6 pack for $8.99. We went with the 3 pack, but we also got some chocolate dipping sauce for an extra $1.

Gotta get the chocolate

These honestly tasted very similar to the normal Mickey Beignets you can get here! There was a little peppermint taste from the sugar though.

Mickey shaped treats are just better

However, they didn’t have enough flavor for us to get them again. We would just stick to the regular beignets, which are cheaper at $4.99 for a 3 pack and $8.49 for a 6 pack.

3 pack

If you want to try them out though, you can grab them at the Mint Julep Bar right now. Or, if you’re going to Merriest Nites, there is another variation of beignets that are traditionally pillow-shaped and are dusted with festive powdered sugar and drizzled with honey.

Traditional Beignets
