The Festival of Holidays is underway at Disney California Adventure, bringing old favorites back to the park for the season. Luckily, at the churro cart in Grizzly Peak, one of our favorites made the cut!
Peppermint Churro — $6.75
Churro coated with crushed candy canes, drizzled with chocolate and vanilla icing
A peppermint churro sounds so boring compared to other churro offerings you can find throughout the resort, but be prepared to have your mind blown by the scrumptious flavors!
The Peppermint Churro is the most simple churro offered this season, but it is also the tastiest and truest to the holidays. In fact, the simplicity of this churro almost made it seem boring compared to the other churro flavors around the rest of the Disneyland Resort. Once we tried it, we immediately fell in love. The beauty is in the simplicity of the ingredients: a regular cinnamon churro with white chocolate and chocolate drizzle sprinkled with crushed candy canes. The peppermint churro still tasted like a churro, but enhanced with holiday flavors. This was easily one of our favorite churros of the day. If you want to try the Peppermint Churro, you can purchase one at the Churro cart near the Redwood Creek Trail Challenge. And, if you happen to go at the right time at night, you’ll be surprised to find snowfall! Snowfall and a peppermint churro? It doesn’t get more magical than that!
