Something for Everyone on Your List: the DIS Family Reunion Vendors

If you’re knee-deep in holiday gift shopping, I have something for you today that might just make your to-do list a bit easier to tackle! I humbly submit to you the complete list of vendors who showcased their talent at the DIS Family Reunion. Let them be your Santa’s helpers this season, and help support small businesses at the same time.

Let’s take a virtual trip around the DIS Family Reunion Vendors Hall as we peruse the AMAZING offerings!

Give Kids the World Village

As Give Kids’ President and CEO Pam Landwirth puts it, the Village offers critically ill children a week filled with yesses. For these kiddos and their families, Give Kids is a dream come true. The children are given a week where they’re not worrying about medical appointments and the stuff of everyday life; they are celebrated for the child that they are.

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, and all donations to Give Kids the World Village are being matched up to $45,000. Find out more details and how to give here.

The Lost Bros.

If the people on your shopping list have a fandom, it’s HIGHLY likely that The Lost Bros. has the perfect gift for them. From tees to stickers and everything in between, including holiday specials and new releases, check out their site: lostbrostradingco.com.

Michael (Locoduck) Duron

Next up is artist Michael Duran. Everything at Michael’s booth was so much fun to look at, especially his name art. Pick any name and any theme, and Michael can create a one-of-a-kind piece of art for you.

Artpostrophe: the Art of Amy O’Malley

You’ll find all things beautiful and whimsical at Artpostrphe. Amy is so kind, and just so talented. As she puts it, she creates visual stories. The watery effect of her painting technique is enchanting.

Author and Speaker Jeffrey A. Barnes

I loved reading and working through Jeff Barnes’ books so much that I wrote an article about them last year. To get to meet Mr. Barnes, now a two-time guest on Connecting with Walt, was a treat. If you love Disney and you’re looking to do some personal growth (always a good thing, right?), I highly recommend checking his books out.

Artist and Author T. Kyle Gentry

T. Kyle Gentry is an artist and visual storyteller that has a couple of different families of characters that kids of all ages will love. Some of Kyle’s amazing creations lean toward the macabre, so, as you can imagine, visiting his booth with Teresa was a delight. She loved what was on display, and if art with a steampunk twist is your thing, you will too!

Crispin’s Creations

Great googly moogly, what Crispin “The Litho Man” does is the coolest thing. Have an heirloom recipe written years ago by your grandmother? Crispin can print a lithophane of it and allow it to shine for all to see. Favorite photos? Choose four and Crispin can turn them into a lithophane lantern, and you can switch out pictures depending on the time of year. How cool is that?!

St. Mist Soap

All things bath can be found at St. Mist Soap. From beautifully-scented natural soaps to bath salts in a myriad of colors and scents, St. Mist Soap has it for you. And, trust me, it ALL smells incredible. A portion of all sales will be donated to Give Kids the World Village.

Lillian & Co.

Lillian & Co. makes some of the prettiest fandom-inspired jewelry that you’ll find. They did a presale of their “Silenzio, Bruno” bracelet during the DIS Family Reunion, and I snapped one up immediately. Their offerings don’t stop at jewelry, so gift ideas abound for all.

instagraphics

instagraphics specializes in helping creatives of all ages learn how to network. They offer masterclasses and training sessions, including their upcoming Creative Agency Summit virtual event on December 10th.

World of DVC

World of DVC, official sponsor of DVC Fan, is your one-stop shop for all things Disney Vacation Club. From renting DVC points to purchasing resale contracts to financing those contracts, the team at World of DVC can help you out.

Artist and Wish Kid Kellen Jackley

Kellen’s wish trip to Give Kids the World Village was life-changing. Literally. He now creates art to raise funds for the Village, and his whole family helps to support his efforts. Any time that you spend talking to Kellen and his sister about their passion for GKTW is time very well spent. And how cute is Pat Sajak stopping by Kellen’s booth in the picture above?!

Artist Joe Yakovetic

Joe is known as the “Painter of Shadows.” If you look closely, you’ll find beloved Disney characters woven throughout his art in the shadows and shading of his work. From Disney sketches to hand-painted Halloween pumpkins, Joe does it all.

Magical Memories Gallery

You’ll find your favorite Disney characters throughout the fine art sold by Magical Memories Gallery. There’s a bit of everything, and their booth at the DIS Family Reunion was filled to the brim with art that any Disney fan would love.

Ron Schneider (Dreamfinder)

Ron Schneider, EPCOT’s Dreamfinder, is Walt Disney World royalty. During the DIS Family Reunion, Ron sat for pictures and offered autographs to raise funds for Give Kids the World. To get to meet Ron was a huge honor for this EPCOT fan. You can find his book, From Dreamer to Dreamfinder, on Amazon.

Keaton’s Kollectibles

Goodness gracious, if you have a fandom, odds are good that Keaton’s Kollectibles has what you’re looking for. The expanse of their offerings at the event was vast, and that was just a sampling.

Magic Candle Company

Magic Candle Company is an official sponsor of The DIS for good reason: their scented products smell just like our happy place! From wax melts to candles to oils for diffusing, soaps, and hand sanitizer; it’s all available, and it all smells great! Our discount code (DISNEYINFO) gets you 20% off through 11/29 at midnight, and 15% thereafter. Free shipping over $50, too!

Moving to Orlando

Moving to Orlando is a team of real estate agents, Disney fans, and Orlando locals who want to help you move to the magic! Let Pete and the team help you make the first steps toward living in Central Florida today.

It’s All Geek to Me

You’ll find the most beautiful layered paper fan art around at It’s All Geek To Me. It’s fan art made by fans, and they can turn just about anything and everything (including LEGO mini figs) into something you’ll treasure.

Cast Member Pantry/Mickey Mouse Club

Volunteers from the Cast Member Pantry were present to help staff a booth that featured Mickey Mouse Club collectibles and merchandise. A reunion of the MMC occurred during the event, and it was neat to see what was being offered to coincide with the reunion. If you’d like more information about the Cast Member Pantry and all of the amazing work that they do, be sure to check out their Facebook page.

Will Gay, Morgan Ditta, and Various Disney Artists

Will Gay, along with the incredible artwork from a variety of Disney fine artists like Morgan Ditta, featured artwork at the DIS Family Reunion. Will was so gracious with his time during the event, and the art being offered was just incredible. Don’t miss the in-park watercolors that Will brought along in the center photo above. Wow.

Dreams Unlimited Travel

Our table, of which I didn’t get a picture (sad, I know), was a one-stop shop for saying hi to members of the DIS and Dreams Unlimited Travel Welcome Center teams. We featured QR link cards to lead you to the page to sign up for info about our upcoming Podcast Cruise (we’d love for you to come!) and, of course, we had pins and such to give away. If you’re wanting to plan a Disney trip, let the expert travel agents at Dreams help you. Their assistance is available at no additional charge, and if you book a Disney Cruise Line vacation with them, you will receive shipboard credit and a gift basket.

Happy shopping, everyone!
