Happy first day of EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, everyone!
This festival runs from today through December 30th, 2021. We’re at the festival today checking out all the food, entertainment, and more, and bringing you along with us! The Holiday Kitchens around the World Showcase feature flavors of the holidays from different cultures. And, similar to the cheese crawl at Food and Wine, Festival of the Holidays has a Cookie Stroll you can take part in!
Who’s ready to eat a bunch of cookies?! We know we are! Make sure to get the stamp that corresponds with the cookie you’re buying while you’re at each booth — that way you can complete the stroll in your Festival Passport and get your prize.
First up is the NEW Snickers-Doodle Cookie made with Snickers bar pieces at Yukon Holiday Kitchen. This is the only new cookie to the stroll this year replacing the Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie!
You’ll find this over in the Canada pavilion, but it’s not worth grabbing unless you want to complete the stroll. Unfortunately, it was a very bland cookie! The Snickers were the only source of flavor because the base cookie was not a snickerdoodle like you would think — it was just a plain old cookie. It’s available for just $2.50!

Next, we moved on to L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen to grab the Black and White Cookie. In the past, we’ve had very mixed feelings about this cookie, but this year it was a hit!
Our cookie was very soft and had a nice citrus flavor which is a big improvement from last year. If you want to try, head towards the Morocco pavilion and you’ll find it for $2.50!

Moving on to American Holiday Table in the America pavilion, we got the Chocolate Crinkle Cookie made with Dove Dark Chocolate.
This is SUCH a yummy cookie, especially for the chocolate-lovers out there! Come on — there’s an entire piece of Dove chocolate on top! How could it NOT be good? We’re amazed that it’s only $2.50, making it one of the cheapest and best treats at the festival.

Over in Germany at Bavaria Holiday Kitchen, we picked up the Linzer Cookie!
This booth at the Germany pavilion is home to our favorite cookie this year! It’s super soft and the fruit makes it light and not overly sweet. It’s also available for $2.50!
Here’s our FULL review for the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen!
Finally, we got the Gingerbread Cookie at Holiday Hearth Desserts to complete our stroll.
Unfortunately, this cookie was a total miss for us. We wish the cookie tasted as good as it looks, but that was not the case. It’s very bland, but again, a must if you want to finish this cookie stroll. Spend the $2.50 on the returning Spaceship Earth cookie instead!
What else does Holiday Hearth Desserts offer? Find out here!
If we had to rank these 5 cookies, our order would be:
- Linzer Cookie
- Chocolate Crinkle Cookie
- Black and White Cookie
- Snicker-Doodle Cookie
- Gingerbread Cookie
Since we now have all 5 stamps in our Festival Passport…
…we brought it to the Holiday Sweets & Treats booth so we could get our prize — a specialty cookie! This year’s redemption cookie is themed to the 50th anniversary AND shaped like an ornament. The cookie is also $3 on its own if you want to buy it, but it comes free if you finish the entire stroll! It was a shortbread cookie with a hint of cinnamon — simple and delicious.
But that’s not all Disney is giving away for FREE this year! Typically, guests who finish the cookie stroll ONLY get an extra redemption cookie…but they are being EXTRA for 2021. That’s right — you also get a free mini sundae! It’s made with chocolate ice cream, whipped cream, and peppermint bits.
If that wasn’t enough, we also received a FreeForm ornament! There are 3 designs to choose from but we ended up going with the sloth one.
Well, we expected to walk out of the stroll with just one free cookie, but we aren’t complaining about the two bonus prizes!
We did it — we ate 6 cookies in one day (no complaints here)! Our favorite cookie of the bunch had to be the Linzer cookie. We’re at the festival trying out all of the food booths, so stay tuned to DFB for more reviews!
