Seasons greetings! Our loop today includes Magic Kingdom, a Monorail ride, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, & Disney Springs — phew!

Before heading into the park, we hopped aboard the express Monorail line to see yellow was back from refurbishment! The interior has been redone, but the Monorail did not load to guests and was taken off of the track shortly after due to technical difficulties.

Not the first time we’ve received this message, guests were alerted on their My Disney Experience app that Splash Mountain would be down for the day, although before leaving the park mid-day, it was back up and running.

Lightning Lanes in the kingdom today were not short, as this line that snakes in front of Haunted Mansion is only for the “fast” lane.

After heading back to the TTC, we took a ride on the EPCOT Monorail line to catch an aerial view of things happening down below. The Disney Springs and EPCOT exit off of World Drive is now open to cars.

Work continues on the roofing at the future Connections Cafe and Eatery near Creations.

Journey of Water construction is taken to new heights as structures arise from the piles of dirt.

Back on the ground at the Transportation and Ticket Center, we walked over to the cast member parking lot across from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to see a new structure with poles being built in the center of the lane of the new walkway.

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a new “Encanto” mural complete with flowers has arrived next to Discovery Trading Co.
