Entertainment Weekly has removed the reference to audio-animatronics on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind that was previously included in their interview with Walt Disney Imagineer Wyatt Winter.

We reported on the interview last night. At the time, the article text stated Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind would include “animatronics, digital media, and the series’ signature soundtrack of pop-rock hits.” The article now only says “digital media and the James Gunn-directed series’ signature soundtrack of pop-rock hits.”

This may mean that EW included the mention of animatronics by mistake and there won’t be any on the attraction at all.
