There are a ton of delicious places to eat at Disney World, but there are also great restaurants off-property!
Portillo’s
The Disney World area in particular has seen a host of popular new chain restaurants pop up recently, like Portillo’s, White Castle, and there is also another Chicken Guy! in progress! And, we just learned of another new restaurant that will open soon near Disney World!
Torchy’s Tacos will open two new locations in Orlando, according to Orlando Business Journal. One will be in the Vineland Pointe development, which is just northeast of Walt Disney World, and the other will be in Altamonte Springs, north of Orlando.

The Vineland Pointe location is expected to open in late 2022, and the Altamonte Springs location should open next summer. According to Orlando Business Journal, these will be the first Florida locations for the Austin, Texas-based taco chain.

Torchy’s Tacos has a variety of tacos, including breakfast tacos, as well as things like burritos and salads. There is also a full bar! It started out as a food trailer in Austin in 2006 and now has over 96 locations in 10 states, according to Orlando Business Journal.
