Magic Kingdom
- After three long years, we finally could hear the whistle of the Walt Disney World Railroad steam trains today as they began their testing at the Magic Kingdom.
- Last night’s fire which sent emergency vehicles riding down Main Street U.S.A. was reportedly caused by a junction box outside of Cinderella Castle, according to the Reedy Creek Fire Department.
- The Magic Kingdom and EPCOT will switch evenings for Extended Evening Hours beginning February 21st.
- Our latest photo report from the Magic Kingdom features 50th Anniversary commemorative bricks, red jeweled Minnie ears, and much more!
EPCOT
- Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company kiosks at EPCOT are now offering self-serve syrups for coffee to try and keep bees from bee-ing attracted to the kiosks.
- Panels were installed today on the exterior of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind as construction slowly continues.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Primeval Whirl has finally been removed from the digital map of Disney’s Animal Kingdom now that demolition is complete.

- Park Passes for all four Walt Disney World theme parks are unavailable for the week of New Year’s Eve for Guests holding a day ticket or staying at a resort hotel.
Disneyland Resort
- A brief power outage at the Disneyland Resort left Guests stranded on a number of attractions including Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and The Haunted Mansion.
Disneyland Paris
- Disneyland Paris Pride will return to Disneyland Paris in the summer of 2022 after a three-year absence!
Disney Cruise Line
- Disney Cruise Line has officially named Port Everglades in Florida as its second year-round home port.
New Merchandise
- A new suitcase and a Loungefly wallet themed to Disney’s Riviera Resort are both now on sale at Walt Disney World.
- Yesterday’s merchandise roundup at Walt Disney World yielded plenty of variety, from new sketchbook ornaments to winter apparel, MagicBands, and much more!
- Today’s merchandise roundup was fun as well, with new 50th Anniversary MaDe phone cases, a Disney’s Riviera Resort photo frame, new villains jewelry, and more.
- Ever wanted to show off your affinity for Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort? Now you can with a few new apparel and merchandise items available only at the resort.
- New pins themed to it’s a small world “Holiday” have sailed into Disneyland Resort.
- Any kiddos looking to dress as Mirabel Madrigal from “Encanto” need look no further than Disneyland, where the youth Mirabel dress is now on sale.
- Bright suns from Batuu, where we spotted a new Black Spire Outpost backpack at Disneyland Park.
- If you’ve ever wanted to be like America’s First Superhero, there’s now a Captain America jacket at the Disneyland Resort to make you feel like the First Avenger.
- Now landing at Disneyland Resort as well is a few Boba Fett-themed apparel items, just in time for “The Book of Boba Fett” in a couple of weeks.

Movies & TV
- We saw our first teaser today of Marvel’s “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur”, a new series coming next summer to Disney Channel.
- More details, set photos, and concept art were released today for the upcoming Avatar 2.
- “WALL·E”, “Return of the Jedi”, and “Flowers and Trees” have all been selected for preservation in the National Film Registry this year.
Disney+
- A new series inspired by the ’80s classic “Goonies” will premiere next year on Disney+.
- Disney+ now supports group watching via Apple SharePlay thanks to the latest app update on iOS.
Other News
- The annual meeting of the Walt Disney Company’s shareholders has been set for March 9, 2022.
