No Extra Tax Added to Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane Purchases at Disneyland Resort

Disney Genie launched at Disneyland Resort today. With it comes Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane, which replace FastPass and MaxPass. We now know that tax is included in Genie+ and Lightning Lane prices, instead of being added on when purchasing like at Walt Disney World.

Genie+ $20 per guest with no added tax or fees, so guests know they will be charged exactly $20.

Individual Lightning Lane purchases grant access to three of the most popular rides: WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, Radiator Springs Racers, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. The prices for Lightning Lane access to these attractions will vary depending on the attraction and the day from $7 to $20. On the first day, WEB SLINGERS and Radiator Springs Racers were each $7, again with no added tax or fees. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance was $20 flat.
