Magic Kingdom
- At TRON Lightcycle / Run, crew members have been working all over the site, adding elements to the canopy framework, paving walkways, and constructing the entrance canopy.
EPCOT
- More and more structures are taking shape at the site of Journey of Water inspired by “Moana” in EPCOT.
- The 2021 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays began last month and guests have been able to partake in Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition — a scavenger hunt where guests find Olaf in each World Showcase pavilion then redeem their map for a prize.
- The exterior of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is coming together as panels are installed behind the greeter structure and Disney finally settles on a paint color.
- Seasons greetings from a foggy Walt Disney World! We are hopping around quite a bit today, so let’s get started in the latest photo report.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular” is returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this weekend after being dormant since March 2020 due to COVID-19 and we took a look at all the confirmed changes that have been made to the show.
- Supply chain issues have caused the build-your-own lightsaber station in Tatooine Traders at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to temporarily close.
- Disney has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the return of “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular” to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Another baby white rhino has been born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the third born at the park in the past 13 months and the thirteenth born at Walt Disney World.
- Some construction walls have come down from around Restaurantosaurus Lounge in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney Springs
- House of Blues at Disney Springs will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party on December 31.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Early theme park entry at Walt Disney World will be available for one hour before the park opens from December 19, 2021, through January 3, 2022.
- A woman is suing Disney Parks & Resorts after allegedly being electrocuted in her hotel room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in September 2018.
Other Walt Disney World News
- Disney Genie at Walt Disney World had trouble with individual Lightning Lane selections this morning.
- From December 19 through January 3, four Walt Disney World attractions that currently have individual Lightning Lane access will instead be available through Genie+.
- Walt Disney World has extended hours at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the week of Christmas.
- Just after hours were extended at Walt Disney World through Christmas Eve, they have been extended on more days through January 8, 2022.
Disneyland Resort
- Guests with reservations for Oga’s Cantina at Disneyland from January 1 through February 6 have received emails that their reservations had been canceled.
- Disney has responded to the civil lawsuit against Walt Disney Parks and Resorts in regards to the Magic Key Program at Disneyland Resort and wants to take the case to federal court.
Tokyo Disney Resort
- The latest round of candy cases pays tribute to two more extremely popular attractions, one at Tokyo Disneyland and one at Tokyo DisneySea.
Disneyland Paris
- The year-long refurbishment of Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (Sleeping Beauty Castle) at Disneyland Paris is now complete and the castle has been fully revealed.
- Walt Disney Studios Park will have their own version of WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, and the WEB logo shape is now visible on the attraction’s show building.
New Merchandise
- There’s no better way to start your morning than with a fresh, hot Mickey waffle; now you can carry that fluffy, sweet feeling throughout the day with a new Loungefly backpack at Walt Disney World!
- Space travelers from across the galaxy can carry all of their necessities in this new Black Spire Outpost backpack, now available in the market of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
- Another “Cuckoo for Disney Pins!” pin is now available at Disneyland Resort.
- A new sweater featuring Robin Hood and Little John from Disney’s animated cult classic “Robin Hood” is now available at Disneyland Resort.
- A new set of limited edition attractions pins are available at Disneyland in ornament boxes, so they can be displayed on a Christmas tree during the holiday season.
- A new Christmas stocking featuring the Disney Princesses is now available at Disneyland Resort.
