According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Orange County, Florida is now in the “substantial” tier when it comes to COVID-19 transmission. The county has been in the lower “moderate” tier for two weeks.

In the “substantial” tier, it is recommended all individuals wear face masks indoors regardless of vaccination status.

At Walt Disney World, guests and Cast Members have been required to wear masks indoors — except when eating or drinking — regardless of vaccination status.

At Universal Orlando Resort, masks are currently optional for guests and Team Members indoors.

Neither resort has indicated at this time if they will change their mask guidelines.
