PHOTOS: Original 1975 Turnstiles Removed from Carousel of Progress at Magic Kingdom

The turnstiles that were outside Carousel of Progress since its installation at the Magic Kingdom in 1975 have been removed.

There were previously two sets of turnstiles at the attraction entrance. This was one of the few attractions at Walt Disney World that still had turnstiles at all. Guests using a wheelchair were not required to use the turnstiles and can still enter through the chained-off areas.

This photo from July 2020 shows the previous turnstiles. Other attractions that still have turnstiles are entirely focused in Tomorrowland, such as the Tomorrowland Speedway and Astro Orbiter.
