The new quick-service restaurant replacing Electric Umbrella in World Celebration at EPCOT will be Connections Café and Eatery. While we don’t know when Connections will open, construction has been moving steadily.
Scaffolding is up in front of the windows at the back of the building.
Some paneling is missing from the roof overhang.
Some temporary panels seem to be taped to the windows, possibly to protect them from construction debris.
We could see crew members working on the ceiling inside.
Orange fabric or tarp hangs from a section of windows behind the scaffolding.
At the corner, they have installed new roofing.
Crew members were working on it today.
Inside the breezeway next to Creations Shop, we can see into more of the future restaurant.
The tube-shaped lights seem to be completed.
We could see some holes in a rounded section of ceiling where other fixtures will be installed.
Some of the interior roofing is covered in brown horizontal poles.
The roof overhang on the front of the building looks complete.
That is, except for this one dark section at the corner of the breezeway.
