Central Florida is celebrating Walt Disney World Day today, as officially proclaimed this morning by the Orlando and Orange County mayors.

Today, December 3, 2021, was declared Walt Disney World Day in honor of all the contributions to the community made by the resort over the last 50 years. The ceremony took place this morning at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, an organization that Disney has supported with time, volunteers, and donations. Disney VoluntEARS, alongside the mayors, celebrated by sorting and packaging food at Second Harvest.
