The construction walls are down in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park, revealing a new look for the Small World Mall.
Just to the left of “it’s a small world,” the mall finally looks open and free.
With everything clear, we can now see the full dividing line between the aged brick of Fantasyland and the pressed brick-patterned pavement of Mickey’s Toontown.
This has also led to a refurbished look around the “it’s a small world” Toy Shop.
New steps have been installed, allowing for easier access to and from the mall.
Next to the steps, a new ramp has also been added, along with a new set of streetlights.
The ramp runs from the store all the way to the underpass below the Disneyland Railroad tracks leading to Toontown.
The lights seem to blend the childlike whimsy of “it’s a small world” with the humorous municipal style of Toontown, adding to the thematic transition.
After months of construction walls clogging the area, it’s nice to see things open with a refreshed appearance!
