If you’ve got a serious sweet tooth, you’ll definitely want to hear about this holiday treat in Disney World!
If you’re looking for an over-the-top ice cream creation, Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is a solid place to start. In addition to the legendary Kitchen Sink that this spot is known for, it’s also home to plenty of other sweet treats that could satisfy even the biggest sugar craving!
We recently stopped by Beaches & Cream to try out the Holiday Cookie Butter Shake, a seasonal treat that’s back again for this holiday season.
This over-the-top snack is available at both the to-go window AND inside the restaurant, so guests can snag it even if they don’t have a dining reservation!
This festive dessert is made with a cookie butter milkshake, drizzled with red and green caramel, and topped with a red velvet Christmas tree cupcake.
The red velvet cupcake topper had cream cheese frosting in the middle and vanilla frosting on top. The icing on top also had chocolate Mickey ears and a star tucked inside. There wasn’t anything too surprising in the flavor of the cupcake and if you like red velvet, you’ll probably be a fan of this part of the dessert.
The milkshake itself tasted pretty similar to the Christmas Cookie Milkshake we tried in Magic Kingdom earlier this holiday season. As expected, it was SUPER sweet and the flavor reminded us of a sugar cookie. The caramel drizzle made it even sweeter, so you’ll definitely need to be in the mood for a looooot of sugar to enjoy this dessert!
Given how sweet it was, we probably would have preferred it to just be a plain vanilla shake instead of the cookie butter flavor to help cut down the intensity a bit. But we still enjoyed it overall and if you have a serious sugar craving, this snack could do the trick for you!
You can pick up the seasonal Holiday Cookie Butter Shake for $15 at the Beaches & Cream To-Go Window, or inside the restaurant, while it lasts. Stay tuned to DFB for all of the latest updates on snacking around Disney World!
