Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs has a new cake to celebrate the debut of “The Book of Boba Fett” on Disney+.
Amorette’s Patisserie is located next to World of Disney in Town Center.
Amorette’s pastries come in boxes wrapped with tissue paper inside bags.
Boba Fett Cake – $22
Chocolate chiffon cake, peanut butter mousse, banana mousse, and peanut butter chips
The cake resembles Boba’s green helmet, complete with a dent detail on top.
This is both the best and worst cake we’ve had at Amorette’s.
The chiffon cake inside is nice and light. It’s slightly moist.
The peanut butter and banana mousses almost overpowered the light chocolate, but they’re wonderful. You get both mousse flavors in one bite easily.
The peanut butter chips seemed to only be in one layer, but the ratio worked well to add a slight crunch and an extra hit of peanut butter.
The fondant, on the other hand, is so unappetizing it’s almost inedible.
The white section on top of the cake tasted like it was literally just butter. It’s thick and possibly over-churned, like no icing we’ve ever had.
Not to mention the green, red, and black coloring will stain everything it touches.
We really enjoyed the inside of this cake, which isn’t too sweet, but the fondant and layer of butter surrounding the cake were horrible.
