REVIEW: Warning! Do NOT Wear White When Eating This Disneyland Snack!

Disneyland is FULL of amazing snacks and holiday treats, but you’re in for a good one today, people. We try it ALL when it comes to Disney food — the good, the bad, and the WEIRD! Every once in a while, though, we find an especially delicious snack that leaves us stuffed and SUPER happy.

Who’s hungry?

Come to Disneyland with us as we try a (MESSY) snack we’ve never had before! Is it a new favorite, or a new failure? Let’s find out!

Refreshment Corner has a new Spicy Meatball Sandwich! It’s made with house-made meatballs, marinara, and shredded mozzarella and cheese sauce, which is sandwiched between a toasted garlic hoagie roll. Sounds pretty good, right?

Sandwich time!

Right off the bat, we could tell this was going to be tricky to eat. Those meatballs were pretty big, and our sandwich sort of fell apart as we were eating it. Here’s a hot tip if you order this sandwich: don’t wear white!

Oh yeah!

Okay, so how did it taste? Well, you guys, this was a WINNER! Dare we say it was a perfect-tasting meatball sandwich? The spice wasn’t too strong, and the flavors all worked together quite nicely. Those giant meatballs tasted good, but they were a little too big for the sandwich. Like we said, this was a messy meal; the cheese and marinara sauce made the roll a little soggy, causing the structural integrity of the sandwich to fall apart.

Our mouth is watering…

This was a VERY filling meal — it might not look like the world’s largest meatball sandwich, but it definitely left us stuffed! If you’re a meatball lover who doesn’t mind a little mess, try this sandwich. If you’re looking for a quick and easy snack, you might not want to try and tackle this messy meal.

Look at that cheesy goodness

The Spicy Meatball Sandwich is available at Refreshment Corner in Disneyland Resort for $10.29.  Now THAT’s a spicy meat-a-ball!👨‍🍳
